Rickie Gene Bass

Rickie Gene Bass, 63, of Middleton, departed this life Thursday evening, March 31, 2022, at his home.

The husband of Marcia Kennamore Bass, who survives, he worked almost 45 years at TK Elevator as a maintenance technician. He was born Wed., October 1, 1958, in Glen Carbon, Illinois, son of the late James Upton Bass and Sibyl Juanita Camburn Bass and lived most of his life here. He married Marcia on June 8, 2001, and together they enjoyed life, raising their blended family. Rickie enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, hunting, going to the beach, traveling and grilling and eating, but received his greatest fulfillment from being around his family, whom he dearly loved. Mr. Bass was a member of Middleton United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Krissie Grantham (Shawn) of Middleton, Mandy Robertson (Cole) of Falkner, MS, Chris Seever (Amanda) of Toone and Angie Davis (Tony) of Middleton; two sisters, Shirly Parker (Terry) and Kathy Carter (Todd), all of Middleton; nine grandchildren, Chloe Seever, Sidney Davis, Laney Seever, Ally Davis, Coden Grantham, Landon Hall, Chloe Kate Robertson, Larson Hall and Lakelynn Robertson; and a sister in law, Frances McKee of Middleton.
