Robbie Gray Hosea

Robbie Gray Hosea departed this life on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 22 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 18, 1926. On September 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Mervin Hillard Hosea, who preceded her in death June 19, 2004.

Robbie had worked for Brown Shoe Company and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, where she was very active. She liked to sing, make afghans, pillows, and sew.

She is survived by her son, Danny Hosea of Germantown, Tennessee; daughter, Nell Allison of Savannah, Tennessee; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorthy Wolfe of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Karen June Hosea and Carolyn Franks; grandchild, Shannon Allison; sisters, Blanche Young, Gladys Jerrolds, and Ruby Adams; and brothers, Johnny Gray, James Gray, Dick Gray, and Hubert Gray.
