Robby Lynn "Pete" Austin

Robby Lynn "Pete" Austin departed this life on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 5 days. He was born in Waterloo, Alabama, on June 24, 1944, the son of the late Albert and Robbie Lynn Benson Austin.
Pete, as he was known by most, loved fishing, loved his friends and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need...he had a heart of gold. In addition to Waterloo, Alabama, he had lived in Mishawka, Indiana and the Walnut Grove community in Savannah, Tennessee.
He is survived by a special friend, Linda Mae White of the Walnut Grove community in Savannah, Tennessee; along with a host of friends and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Austin.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the North Alabama Medical Center and staff 2200 CCV, Shackelford Funeral Directors, Curtis Johnson, Bill Seats and Bonnie Seats.
