Robert (Rob) S. Ray

Robert S. (Rob) Ray was born November 2, 1956 in Pekin, IL the son of the late Johnson and Wadene Tull Ray.

He was united in marriage to Glenda Plunk on June 8, 1996.

Mr. Ray worked for several years as a medic and LPN in Memphis, Hardin County, Waverly and surrounding areas. He was passionate about caring for others. He loved going fishing and spending time with his family. His pride and joy was his son, Stan until his granddaughter, Katie was born. Katie became the light of his life. He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

Mr. Ray departed this life on April 28, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days. He is survived by his wife Glenda Ray of Selmer, TN; a son, Stan Ray and wife Tiffany of Corinth, MS; granddaughter, Katey Ray of Corinth, MS; grandson, Jake Tucker of Corinth, MS; two nephews, Christopher A. Ray of Henderson, TN and Jonathan Ray and wife Adele of Knoxville, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Alan Ray.
