Rollin Jon (Ronnie) Dygert Rollin Jon (Ronnie) Dygert, Waynesboro, TN, was born August 10, 1948 in Muncie, IN to the late Rollin J and Phyllis White Dygert.
He was a past alternate to the American Angus Association, past vice-president of South Central Tennessee Angus Association, member of Lawrence-Wayne County Cattleman Association, proud member of Local 1853 UAW, retired from Saturn Manufacturing in Spring Hill, TN and was of the Methodist faith.
Ronnie was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and Ball State University in Muncie, IN. He was a proud United States Navy veteran of 2 tours in Vietnam on the USS Ticonderga.
Ronnie departed this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 3 Months, 29 Days.
Survivors are his loving wife of almost 50 years, Priscilla Strong Dygert, sons, Shaun Dygert and Jon Dygert (Laura) and grandsons, Carson and Caden Luke Dygert all of Waynesboro, TN; brother-in-law, Merle Strong (Vickie), Nobelsville, IN; nieces, Tammi Fitzgerald (Casey), Mandi Garner (Randy), Loryn Bunker (Matt) and Karen Jehl (Kevin) and many friends.
Other than his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Dygert; sister, Carolyn Goodwin and parents-in-law, Willie H. and Katherine Strong.
Memorial services will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Adam Rush officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am to service time at the funeral home. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County is assisting the family.
