Ronald Glenn Cromwell was born in the Walkertown community of Savannah, Tennessee, on February 9, 1947, the son of Glenn and Nora Edna Gean. He married his high school sweetheart, Sherry Diane Bedwell on June 10, 1966, at the Savannah Church of Christ. Ronald graduated from Central High School and took some college classes. He was employed with PCA Mill in Counce, Tennessee for 40 years, retiring in 2008.
Ronald liked to spend time with family, going to Chloe's volleyball and basketball games, and hearing her sing in the honor choir at school. He also liked hunting, fishing, UT football and basketball, golf, and traveling. He enjoyed trying new restaurants, especially after moving to Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sherry of Grapevine, Texas; one son, Dean and his wife Tiffany of Hurst, Texas; one granddaughter, Chloe Faith of Hurst, Texas; one sister, Shirley Chamblee and her husband Jim of Dyersburg, Tennessee; in-laws, Paul and Reese Bedwell of Counce, Tennessee; special lifelong friend, Robert Earl Walker of Savannah, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Nora Cromwell; mother-in-law, Lucille Bedwell; in-laws, Fred and Virginia Hanna.
