Ronnie W. Salmon departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at the age of 72 years, 1 month, and 28 days. He was born in Tiptonville, Tennessee on June 26, 1948, the son of the late Robbie Lee Harston McAfee and John D. Salmon.
Ronnie served his country honorably in the United States Army. He later worked as a cook for Hagy's Restaurant for over 20 years and Dana Corp for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, talking with friends, cars of all kinds, and he loved his family.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Rhonda Ann Salmon Davis of Shiloh, Tennessee, Danny Lane Salmon and Randy Wayne Salmon, both of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Ryan Davis, Deanna Davis, Hannah Davis, Jonothan Parson, Donnie Salmon, Randy Wayne Salmon, Jr., Tommy Sagely, Breanna Salmon, and Christina Salmon; great grandchildren, Emily Kate, Cierra, Landon, and Levi; sisters, Phyllis Ballard of Shiloh, Tennessee, Connie Sims of Michie, Tennessee, and Angie Haynes of Gulfport, Mississippi; and brothers, Joey McAfee and Johnny McAfee, both of Michie, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Morgan, and brothers, Donnie Joe Salmon and Jackie McAfee.
