Rose Marie Shook
was born in Maui, Hawaii on March 29, 1936 the daughter of the late George and Rosa Marie Jacintho Fernandez.
In 1955 she was united in marriage to Claude Lewis Shook, who preceded his wife in death on October 22, 2004.
Rose worked for Angelica for six years in Savannah, Tennessee and left to care for her husband. They both retired in Adamsville, Tennessee to live a quit subdued life in the country after so many moves in military life. She was a loving mother and compassionate and caring to all she knew. Gardening and country life were her passion. Rose was well respected, kind and loving to all who knew her. Momma Rose will be missed by all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She departed this life on Monday, November 15, 2021 at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 17 days.
Rose is survived by her children, Yolanda Pace, Barbara Dubord, Ronald Shook and Randy Shook; grandchildren, Christine Lorenz, Patrick Sherman, Melissa Dubord, Jake Dubord, Paul Shook, Christopher Shook, and Rhandi Shook; great grandchildren, Thomas Lorenz, Jr., Tristan Lorenz, Avery Lorenz, Salem Lorenz, Strider Lorenz, Warren Sherman, Logan Tavernier, Lachlan Tavernier, Kayla Shook, Sofiah Shook, Gavin Shook, Colt Dubord, Corrina Shook-Chase, and Lawson Chase; and sisters, Celestine McKellips and Bernadette Talley.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Claude L. Shook, Jr. and one grandson, Paul L. Shook.
