Rosemary Wardlow Chambliss, 72, of Southaven, MS, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home.
The daughter of the late Murray Lester and Rossie Lois Taylor Wardlow, she was born in Corinth, MS and reared in Pocahontas. She lived for a time in Memphis, but was a long-time resident of Southaven, MS.
She had been a realtor for 50 years working as managing broker of Best Realty in Southaven. She also was past president of The Stonehedge Home Owners' Association. A Baptist in belief, she had been an outstanding member and sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous over the years where she was able to help countless people. She was always available to help the sick and suffering and was a true friend to Bill W.
She leaves her soulmate, Harold Connell of Southaven; her son, Michael Grant Rickman (Vicki), also of Southhaven; her step-children, Tammy Hughes, Cynthia Chatman, Matt Vanderloop, Katy Ann Vanderloop and Patrick Tanner; two grandchildren, Henry Davis Vanderloop and Lilly Vanderloop; a brother, Dale Wardlow of Hernando, MS; niece, Kathy Fields; and nephew, Keith Wardlow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Raymond Lloyd Rickman and Donald Chambliss, Sr.; and a brother, Jimmy Wardlow.
