ROSILYN COZART PHINNEY
Pinson, TN: Rosilyn May Cozart Phinney age 59 passed away August 22, 2018 at Martin General Hospital in Williamston, NC.
She was born December 5, 1958 in Henderson, the daughter of the late Jesse Elmore Cozart, Jr. and Marilyn Melissa Young Cozart. She graduated from Southside High School in 1976 and attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. She married Jim Phinney in 1978. They made their home in several states while Mr. Phinney did evangelist work. They lived in Pinson from 1984 until 1998. They had made their home in Robersonville since 1998. They had done mission work in West Africa and traveled many states as Jim continued to do evangelist work. They were therapeutic parents while living in Pinson and Robersonville.
Mrs. Phinney is survived by her husband, James Sedley “Jim” Phinney of Robersonville and a daughter, Jessica Graham of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Jim Phinney and David Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Big Springs Cemetery at Pinson, TN.
