Roxie Marie Brison Moore

Roxie Marie (Foxy Roxy) Brison Moore of Iron City, TN was born November 3, 1932 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Noah Cecil and Waymon Creecy Brison. She was united in marriage to Roy Dell Moore on February 15, 1952 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1990. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her fiance', Vance Moore, brothers, Walter Brison and J. B. Bryson and sisters, Walsie Pulley, Robbie Daniel and Imogene Daniel.

Mrs. Moore was retired from Genesco and had worked as an office worker at CHS and CMS. She was a member of the Williams Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee and departed this life, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 2 Months, 23 Days.

She is survived by daughters, Sandra (Jerry) Butler and Regina (Melvin)Gamble; grandchildren, Jeremy (Christy) Butler, Jana (Brett) Rinehart, John (Lisa) Gamble and Anna (Shannon) Brewer all of Iron City, TN; great-grandchildren, Maicee and Ethan Butler, Trayce and Danton Rinehart, Tayler and Matt Gamble and Xander Daniel; great-great-grandchildren, Avree Risner, Brana (Wee-Watt) Rinehart; step-great-grandchildren, Ethan, Laney, Thayer and Tinslee Brewer; step-great-great-grandchild, Adylin-Kate Brewer; foster grandchild, Kayla Russell and Judy and Jerdie Ayers, daughter and granddaughter of the late Vance Moore.

Services will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Camryn Eaton and Stacey Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Hollis Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Butler, John Gamble, Matt Gamble, Ethan Butler, Trayce Rinehart, Danton Rinehart, Brett Rinehart and Shannon Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Sander Daniel, Ethan Brewer and Thayer Brewer.
