Roy Tilman Melton

Roy Melton was born June 15, 1957 in Memphis, TN the son of the late Luther Tilman and Avalon Irene Kirves Melton.

Roy enjoyed tinkering on lawnmowers. He walked everywhere he went, often barefoot by his choice. He lived with and took care of his brother, Bobby.

Roy departed this life on July 12, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 27 Days. He is survived by a sister, Lori Lindsey and husband John of Covington, TN; a brother, Bobby Jackson of Memphis, TN; three nephews, Philip Melton and wife Jessica of Covington, TN, Joshua Barker and wife Quen of Medina, TN, and Johnathan Lindsey of Covington, TN; great nieces and nephew, Kaleigh Melton, Kylea Barker and Bryson Barker.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Melton was preceded in death by three sisters, Denise Tate, Nancy Jackson, Kathy Barnett.
