RUBE PATTERSON Henderson, TN: Gary Rubin Patterson age 67 passed away January 7, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born May 31, 1953 in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, the son of Rubin Simms and Ethel Miller Patterson. He attended Chester County Schools. He married Elaine Kilzer in 1978. He started to work for ITT Grinnell in 1978, as a crane and forklift operator, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, raising goats and sheep and loved being outdoors. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed friends and having a good laugh. Go Braves! He was a member of the Luray Baptist Church. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife, Elaine Kilzer Patterson of Henderson; three sons, Garry Patterson (Jenny) of Henderson, Josh Patterson (Kristin) of Henderson and Christopher Patterson of Henderson; four grandchildren; two brothers, Larry David Patterson (Ann) of Henderson and Jeff Patterson of Henderson; two sisters, Patsy Urban (Robert) of Blue Springs, MO and Linda Toy (Joe) of Jackson. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 10th at Shackelford Funeral directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Clint Burkhead officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
