Mr. Ruben Odle departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 100 Years, 1 Month, 7 Days. He was born March 15, 1919 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Jess and Hattie Pearl Long Odle.
Mr. Odle was a carpenter. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II
He is survived by three daughters, Bettyi Mae Jackson of Collinwood, TN, Patricia Peppers of Collinwood, TN, Ruby Nell Parham of Clifton, TN; 15 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren, brother, Lyrlon Odle of Collinwood, TN, sister, Fannie Lou Parham of Collinwood, TN, nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Mr. Odle was preceded in death by sons, Jimmy Wayne Odle, John Robert Odle, brothers, Luther Odle, Robert Odle, sisters, Nadine Davis, Pauline Buff, Magdaline Franklin and Willie Ruth Creasy.
Graveside Service with Military Rites will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Copeland Cemetery in Collinwood, Tennessee with Larry Keith Wright and Jeff Davis officiating.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Legion post #254 in Collinwood.
