Ruby Irene Reeves Franks Hollins

Ruby Irene Reeves Franks Hollins departed this life on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the age of 79 years, 4 months, and 5 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on May 3, 1939, the daughter of the late Henry and Ida Guin Reeves. On November 3, 1956, she was united in marriage to Ellis Willard Franks, who preceded her in death on November 20, 1983. Ruby was united in marriage to her second husband, James Hollins, on August 29, 1986, he preceded her in death on September 23, 2001.

Ruby was a lovely mother and grandmother. She enjoyed walks and being with her family and friends, and she especially loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Stumbaugh, Patsy Stricklin and husband Marshall, Reda McLin and Waymond Thompson, all of Savannah, Tennessee, and Wanda Spivey of Yulee, Florida; sister, Robbie Lawson of Florence, Alabama; brothers, Johnny Reeves and Rayford Reeves, both of Florence, Alabama; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

In addition to her husbands and her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by a grandchild, Bruce Franks, Jr.; brothers, Jeff Reeves and Buddy Reeves; and sisters, Viva Oakley, Marie Borden, and Dean Tate.
