Ruby was a secretary by profession who made life long friends everywhere she went. People gravitated to her infectious laughter and her welcoming hug. To be hugged by Ruby was to be hugged with purpose.
She was known as Sissy, Aunt Ruby, Mammaw, Ms Ruby, "Bonus" Grandmother & as a fierce prayer warrior. She started her day sitting in her chair with her bible calling each and every family member & friend by name, asking God to protect & guide them through their day.
Ruby took great care to document and file the menu for every holiday & who was there. She made sure to have everyone's favorites never forgetting to stock her M&M dish for her loved ones.
In addition to being the first person you would call for advice, she was a woman who made it her mission to spread God's word & his love with everyone she could. Ruby will forever be in all our hearts, and will never be forgotten. We will miss you thiiiisssss much as she would say!
Memorials may be made to a cause dear to Ruby's heart, Widows Might. Checks may be made out to West Memorial Baptist Church, Widows Might and mailed to 6230 Saulsbury Road, Saulsbury, TN 38067.
