    Ruby Marie Stevens Humphrey of Stantonville, Tennessee

    May 12, 1936 - March 23, 2022

    Ruby Marie Stevens Humphrey was born May 12, 1936 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late William "Ollie" and Ada Belle Roe Moffett. Mrs. Humphrey lived in the Stantonville community for 70 years and a dedicated member of Meeks Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She worked at Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville in the fabrication department and later worked at the hospital in Selmer as an environmentalist. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and singing gospel songs. She loved her family, church family and her pets. Mrs. Humphrey departed this life on March 23, 2022 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 10 Months, 11 Days. She is survived by her children, Mary V. (Pud) Gray and companion Jimmy Lambert, Henry Walter Stevens Jr. and wife Zelda, Kerry Wayne Stevens and wife Malea, Tammy Lynn Thacker and husband Jimmy Dean, Penny Marie Bullock and husband Terry, Dennis Paul Stevens, and Charles (Punkin) Stevens and wife Shannon; two brothers, Charlie Moffett and wife Teresa, Willie Earl (Mousey) Moffett and wife Gerry Sue; sister-in-law, Louise Moffett; 16 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren; and a host of friends and neighbors whom she cherished very much. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Humphrey was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Baxter Humphrey; father of her children, Henry Walter Stevens; two sons, infant son Stevens and James "Andy" Stevens; two granddaughters, Gina Lynn Gray and Laura Culver; son-in-law, Tommy Gray; dear friend, Glenda Johnson; two sisters, Edyth Mae Gream and Mary Adilene Gream; six brothers, Jim William Moffett, Herbert Dee Moffett, George Thomas Moffett, Hershell Moffett, Herman Moffett, and Baby brother Moffett.
