Ruby Irene Wilburn was born January 17, 1936 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Ervin and Viona Irene Alverson Godsey. She enjoyed listening to gospel and country music, "day time stories", and family get togethers. Ruby departed this life on February 12, 2021 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 26 Days. She is survived by her husband, J T Wilburn of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Judy Heflin of Ripley, TN; a son, Ronnie Joe Bumpus and wife Beverly Lynn of Saulsbury, TN; six grandchildren: Christy Downing, Kelvin Vandiver, Rachel Flint, Justin Bumpus, Dillon Bumpus, and Emily Baker; ten great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.
