Ruth Allen Hime passed into heaven on January 22, 2021 at 97 years of age. Ruth Hime was born in Athens, Alabama to John and Pearly Allen on November 26, 1923. She married Bob Hime on May 8, 1943 in Corinth, Mississippi. They would have celebrated their 77th year of marriage. Bob and Ruth Hime, together, were founding members of First Baptist Church, Clifton, TN. She was a talented homemaker and gifted seamstress. Friends and family will remember her thoughtfulness in sending cards and cooking for loved ones. Ruth Home was preceded in death by husband, Bob Hime; parents, John and Pearly Allen; siblings, Buford Allen, Pauline Bynum, John Franklin Allen, Mary Loucille Allen Hime and Wayne E. Allen. Ruth is survived by her children; Ann Musselwhite and husband, Wayne Musselwhite from Murfreesboro, TN; Bobbie Cobb and husband, Allen Cobb from Clifton, TN; Debra Sue Lee and husband, John Lee from Brentwood, TN and George Allen Hime from Nolensville, TN; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Ruth will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren will miss her coming to the door with a big smile, saying, "Hi-Dee-Do Darlin" and having a big pot of soup on the stove.
