Sally Maybell Leatherwood was born August 7, 1939 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Charlie Harold and Ludie L. Bright Null. She departed this life on April 12, 2020 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 8 Months, 5 Days.
Mrs. Leatherwood attended Olive Hill Baptist Church in Guys, TN. She had worked at a textile factory in Corinth, MS for many years before retiring. She married Johnny Harold Leatherwood in 1957. Mr. Leatherwood passed away on February 20, 2013.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra Mayfield and husband Terry of Guys, TN; a son, Rickey Leatherwood and wife Hope of Ramer, TN; a brother, Warren Null and wife Sue of Guys, TN; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Leatherwood was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ludie Null; husband, Johnny Harold Leatherwood; son, Tony Leatherwood; sister, Lavern Null McClain; two brothers, Harold and Sam Null.
IN RESPONSE TO CURRENT EXECUTIVE ORDERS PROHIBITING PERSONS IN TENNESSEE FROM ATTENDING SOCIAL GATHERINGS CONSISTING OF 10 OR MORE PEOPLE, THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC VISITATIONS OR SERVICES ANNOUNCED UNTIL THE ORDERS EXPIRE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO ANNOUNCE DEATHS IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION AND APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
