Mr. Kelley, 48, of Whiteville, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 22, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
He was born in Memphis and lived all his life as a resident of Whiteville. His parents were the late Roy Lamar Kelley and Mary Ann Ray Kelley, who survives. Additionally, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Georgia Smith; maternal grandfather, James W. Ray; and his paternal grandfather, Albert Sommers "Pete" Kelley.
Scott as a self-employed truck driver and member of Whiteville First Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his truck, traveling to NASCAR races at Talledega and spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Nick (Toni Whitten) Kelley of Silerton and Chris (Raven Winberry) Kelley of Whiteville; his mother, Mary Ann Kelley of Whiteville; paternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Kelley of Selmer; sister, Rita (Bubba) Hooper of Jackson; and four grandchildren, Gracyn Lynn Kelley, Allen Ferge, Layne Ferge and Kaitlynn Kelley.
