Sharon "Nez" Jones

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Bolivar First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Jones passed away Saturday morning, February 9, 2019 at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
Born in Jackson, she lived most all of her life in Hardeman County and was the daughter of the late Martin Luther Gatlin and Mary Madgaleen Humphry Gatlin. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Martin and Lee Russell Gatlin.
A member of Bolivar First Baptist Church, she had worked as a private caretaker most of her life and loved to make jewelry and build bird cages in her leisure time.
She is survived by her husband, David Jones of Georgia; her daughter, Amanda Jones of Bolivar; four sisters, Gloria Ann Newson, Christine Spencer and Gracie Mae (Allen) Kirksey, all of Bolivar and Martha D. Gatlin of Ypsilanti, MI; three brothers, Paul L. (Mary) Gatlin of Ypsilanti, MI, Fredrick Gatlin of Chicago, IL and Melton D. (Catherine) Galtlin of Cary, NC; and sister-in-law, Kathy Gatlin of Ypsilanti, MI.
