Shelby Christeen Burns

Shelby Christeen Burns was born September 20, 1937 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Thomas Dickey and Valley Blakely Dickey. She departed this life on May 30, 2022 in Jackson, TN at the age of 84 Years, 8 Months, 10 Days.
Mrs. Burns is survived by two sons, Joseph Burns and wife Debbie and Alan Burns and wife Rhonda, all of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Elizabeth Plunk and Martha Crane, both of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren: Danielle Williams and husband Evan, Dalton Burns, Kenny Burns, Pennie Glenn and husband Brandon, and Suzanne Nachlinger; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Burns; three sisters: Marie Hogan, Dorothy Willis and Sue Cobb; and two brothers, Reo and Charles Dickey.
