Shelia Renee Stricklin

Shelia Renee Stricklin was born May 29, 1968, in Florence, AL the daughter of Elizabeth Smith Jaynes and the late James Edward Scott. She was united in marriage to Randy Stricklin on April 14, 1983. She worked for TJ Shirt Manufacturing for several years, was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church in Florence, AL, enjoyed singing at church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.Mrs. Stricklin departed this life on January 24, 2022, at the North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 53 Years, 7 Months, 26 Days.

She is survived by her husband Randy Stricklin of Iron City, TN; her
sons, James Stricklin and wife Lindsey of Florence, Al, Christopher Stricklin and wife Kendra of Ethridge, TN; a brother, Malcolm Scott and wife Cindy of Florence, AL; stepfather Robert (Dee) Jaynes; stepbrother Jeff Jaynes and wife Cindy of Colbert County.AL; stepsister Jennifer Fields of Florence, AL; six grandchildren, Bryson, Brenton, Braylee, Knoxley, Calvin, and Colton Stricklin; two special nieces Christina Nelson and Brianna Scott and a special aunt Teresa Hand and special uncle Dan Smith

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughters Stacey and Tracey Stricklin

Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Chapel in Collinwood with Tim Hanback, Edward Burbank and Malcom Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Florence, AL. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM all at Shackelford Chapel in Collinwood.

Pallbearers include Jeremy Holden, Lewis Simbeck, Will Denton, Coty Nelson, Jason Abernathy and D.J. Kobeck

Honorary Pallbearers include Bryson Stricklin, Brenton Stricklin and Justin Murphy

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the family
