SHIRLEY ANN GRANTHAM
Shirley Ann Grantham passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at home, at the age of 82. Shirley was born on September 4, 1935, in Jacks Creek, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Roy and Minnie (Rhodes) Nobles. She has been residing in Joliet, IL since 1956, is a graduate of Chester County High School and retired from Western Electric in 1992.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Samuel Grantham of Joliet; her two children, Patricia (John) Kraske and Curt Grantham, both of Juliet; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded by her parents; her two sisters, Ruth Morris and Willie Fay Lindsey.
Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with burial in Unity Cemetery.
The family will receive friend at Johnson Chapel beginning at 10:00 AM Wednesday.
