Shirley Hinkle was born on May 4, 1955 in Horton, Michigan, the daughter of the late Henry Cornelius and Bertha Mae Irish Carney.
She was united in marriage to Mike Hinkle, who survives.
Shirley worked at K&M Market in Savannah, Tennessee as a cashier. She loved to go to auctions on Saturday nights. She also enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, especially pork chops. Most of all, Shirley loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shirley Hinkle departed this life on January 14, 2022 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 66 years, 8 months, and 10 days.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Hinkle of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Sonya Sanson and her husband Donnie of Savannah, Tennessee, Sandi Martin and her husband Gentry of Savannah, Tennessee, Nichole Lee Hinkle of Bradenton, Florida, and Billie Jo Tuttle of Miskegon, Michigan; sisters, Mary Keirns of Savannah, Tennessee and Karen Hoath of Michigan; grandchildren, Jessica Sanson, Meagan Sanson, Tyler Sanson, Kaelinne Karr, and Amanda Roland; and great grandchildren, Jayden Lowery, Jacelyn Lowery, Deagan Roland, and Alyona Roland; 2 great grandchildren on the way, JonDarius Sanson and Jaliyah Lowery; and nephew, Michael Keirns.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her nephew, Jeff Keirns and grandchild, Montana Martin.
