Shirley Lee Wilbanks Johnson

Shirley Lee Wilbanks Johnson, 75, of Oakland, departed this life Sunday, October 10, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.

A native of Walnut, MS, she was born Tuesday, December 4, 1945, daughter of the late Vance and Maxine Wells Wilbanks and lived in Memphis prior to moving to Oakland 30 years ago. She worked as an offset printer and was owner of K&J Printing. She retired from Copy Rite Graphics in 2005 and enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching and feeding the birds, especially the cardinals. She held her greatest love for being around her family and her grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson married Harold Wayne Johnson on August 31, 1973, and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2021. She was a starting member of Hope Apostolic Church and looked forward to being in church and worshipping with her fellow Christians.

Survivors include her daughters, Celinda Ann Keech (Doug) of Paris, TN, Donna Lee Loyacano (Joe) of Oakland, Sherry Maxine Sittig (Paul) of Sulphur, LA, Robin Melissa Gordon of Oakland and Lacy Marie Johnson of Memphis; her sons, Bennie Wayne Johnson of Oakland, Jerry Dewayne Johnson (Sue) of Andersonville and David Harold Johnson (Carrie) of Paris; sisters, Linda Kirby and Rebecca Craig, both of Southaven, MS and Sandra Jones (Robert) of Arkabutla, MS; a brother, Scott Wilbanks (Sandy) of Carthage, MS; 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Marise.
