On May 29, 1969, he was united in marriage to Glenda Pickett, who survives.
Stanley worked for Anvil and was a member of Lanes Chapel Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenda Alexander of Milledgeville, Tennessee; daughter, Karen Jaggars; son, Brandon Alexander; brother, Roger Alexander; sister, Gilda Brown; and grandchildren, Brittany Jaggers, Brendan Jaggars, Madison Alexander, and Megan Alexander.
In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Jean Alexander.
