Steve Pulse, 74, of Middleton passed from this life Sunday evening, December 19, 2021 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born Monday, July 14, 1947, in Brownfield, MS, son of the late Jim Carl Pulse, Sr., and Birdie Mae Dickerson Pulse and lived all of his life here in the county. He was a truck driver, driving for Thurston Motor Line until his retirement in the early 1980's. He was known for his ability to 'whittle', but got his greatest enjoyment from being around his grandkids and hanging out at his farm. Mr. Pulse was a member of Porter's Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristy Pulse and Tiffany Pulse Gray (Chris), both of Middleton; two sons, Stephen Pulse of Burns, TN and Scotty Pulse of Middleton; a sister, Carol Wall of Mayfield, KY; a brother, Don Pulse (Brenda), of Bolivar; 11 grandchildren, Jacee and Rachel Pulse, Marissa Thweatt, Mackenzie Pulse, Karleigh Shields, Tray Donahoe, Easton and Oaklee Gray, Lynnlee Donahoe, Beckett and Ryker Gray; and two great grandchildren, Jaxon James and Drake Bledsoe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Mills; and five brothers, Joe Ramer Pulse, Mack Pulse, Jimmy Pulse, Sidney Pulse and Buck Pulse.
