Mrs. Hatch passed away Wednesday evening at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.
She was a native and life-long resident of Hardeman County and the daughter of the late Joseph Newton Tull and Martie Leona Howell Tull. On September 19, 1941, she was married to Mr. Elvis Eugene Hatch. He passed from this life on September 22, 1982.
Mrs. Hatch was employed by Jervis (later known as Harmon Automotive) for 13 years and was a faithful member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church near Silerton. She was the oldest living member. In recent years, she had attended the Woodville Baptist Church where her son, Roger, is the pastor. In her leisure time, she enjoyed writing, quilting, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Faye Russell and husband, Steve, of Middleton; her sons, Roger Hatch of Silerton; Michael Hatch and wife, Mitzi, also of Silerton; her twin sister, Sarah Chandler of Silerton; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hatch was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Hatch; two sons, Tommy Joe and Charles Hatch; a granddaughter, Roxanne Denise Hatch; six sisters, Kydell Orr, Edith Rook, Nema Ballard, Geraldine Ballard, Vina Harwell and Nell Willis; and three brothers, Gorland, John Allon and Howell Tull.
