Susan Wiggins, 69, of Bolivar, departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Shelby County on Tuesday, February 5, 1952, daughter of the late Henry Edmond Rogers and Ruby Mae Hale Rogers. She was retired as a CNA, working at Briarwood Nursing Home in Lexington. She married George Wiggins on December 10, 2011 and moved to Bolivar from Henderson County. She was a hard worker, and she and George enjoyed traveling, dancing at various venues, riding around on the farm, hayrides and bonfires. Mrs. Wiggins attended Bolivar Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, George Wiggins of Bolivar; a daughter, Lynn Bledsoe (Shawn) of Clifton; a sister, Yvonne Sisk of Lexington; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Henrietta Brasfield and Mae Peterson. * Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
