Ted (Teddy) Wayne Hankins

Ted (Teddy) Wayne Hankins, Jr. of Waynesboro, TN was born February 16, 1971 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of the late Ted Wayne Hankins and Patricia Murphy. He was united in marriage to the former Marcie Nicole Hooper on November 16, 2006.Mr. Hankins was a construction worker with Southern Land Company and had worked with the Wayne County Highway Department and departed this life on Friday, September 23, 2022 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 51 Years, 7 Months, 7 Days. He is survived by his wife, Marcie Nicole Hooper Hankins of Waynesboro, TN; four sons, Logan (Sarah) Hankins of Farragot, TN, Brock (Lauren) Hankins of Hohenwald, TN, Morgan Hankins of Waynesboro, TN and Kriston Hankins of Warren, OH; two daughters, Faith Hankins (Kenneth Jones) and Allie (Jordan) Rhodes all of Hohenwald, TN; grandchildren, Anthony, Elijah, Reagan, Chaiselyn, Brodie, Marly, Hayden, Charlie, Hadley, Chezney and River; two sisters, Michelle Prosser of Shelbyville, TN and Terri Harper of Murfreesboro, TN. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Berthel and Grace Hankins and Geneva Raider.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:30 pm to 6 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors.
