Teresa Cheryl Redfearn

Graveside memorial services for Teresa Cheryl Redfearn, age 64, of Middleton, will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Saulsbury Cemetery. Mrs. Redfearn departed this life on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at her home.

The daughter of the late Rev. James Willie Carter and Ellen Garrett Carter, she was born in Essary Springs and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. She was united in marriage to Bruce Redfearn on May 24, 1974 in Saulsbury and he passed away on March 6, 2017 following 42 years of marriage. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an uncle, John Wilbanks of Pocahontas.

Teresa was retired from Wal-Mart in Bolivar, where she worked for several years. She attended Essary Springs Baptist Church and was very religious. She loved to read her Bible and was a long-time cancer survivor. She had lived in Middleton since 1980.

She leaves her son, Adam Redfearn, of Jackson; brother, Roger Carter of Medon; several beloved nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Martin Redfearn of Jackson; and aunt, Joyce Wilbanks, of Pocahontas.
