Teresa Carol Crumby departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the age of 53 years, 9 months, and 16 days. She was born in Jackson, Tennessee on March 23, 1967, the daughter of the late Albert and Joyce Bennett King. On December 12, 1992, Teresa was united in marriage to Joey Crumby, who survives.
Teresa had previously been a social worker for Pine Meadows. During her lifetime, she had been a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church in Medon, Tennessee, and was a former Eastern Star, serving several terms as a Worthy Matron and serving as Grand Representative to the state of Vermont.
Teresa loved to go visit the Amish community, enjoyed canning, was a proud Band Mom, and was a proud grandmother to her granddog, Daisy Lynn and cat, Ed.
In addition to her husband, Joey Crumby of Savannah, Tennessee, Teresa is survived by her daughters, Bethany Hope Crumby of Savannah, Tennessee, and Brittany Faith Crumby and her husband Jason Higgs of Florence, Alabama; a brother, Dewayne King of Toone, Tennessee; sisters, Barbara Smith and her husband Richie of Toone, Tennessee, and Bonnie Alvarez and her husband Julio of Bolivar, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
