Terry Case was born January 24, 1948 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Gilbert N. and Alcie Mae Henson Case.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Dean Martin on June 7, 1969.
Terry graduated from Adamsville High School in 1966 and the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1970. After graduation he taught at Adamsville Elementary School for two years before transferring to the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Crump, retiring in 2014 as a Master Instructor after 42 years of service. Terry enjoyed gardening, collecting antique tractors, water sports, fishing, and was an avid crossword puzzler. He was a talented musician, playing bass guitar for the southern gospel group The Waymakers for 12 years, but his favorite pastime was watching his grandchildren play sports. Terry was a faithful member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder and Clerk of Sessions for many years.
Terry departed this life on November 10, 2019 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 9 Months, 17 Days. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Case of Adamsville, TN; a son, Benjie Case and wife Joy of Adamsville, TN; three grandchildren: Tucker Case, Ty Case, Taylor Case; a brother, Eugene Case and wife Carol of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Martha Tyler and husband Dwight of Adamsville, TN; special cousin Ann Gilchrist of Adamsville, TN; his caregiver for 15 months, Ruth Ryan of Saltillo, TN; and many extended family and friends.
