Mr. McDonald passed away Friday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Bolivar, the son of the late James Horace McDonald and Madie Lou Hannis McDonald, who survives. A truck driver for 25 years, he worked for C&M Sawmill as a driver and was a member of the Middleburg Baptist Church. Most of his life had been lived around Middleton before moving to Bolivar. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and his "grandbabies."
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, whom he married June 3, 1989; his daughter, Reva Lynn McDonald of Bolivar; two sons, Ethan Austin and Kyle Evan McDonald, both of Bolivar; two nieces/daughters, Brittney McDonald of Middleton and April (Ayele) O'Connor of Medon; his mother, Madie Lou McDonald of Middleton; a sister, Doris McDonald of Middleton; a brother, Roger (Tammy) McDonald of Bolivar; a sister-in-law, Ola McDonald of Humboldt; his "grandbabies", James and Ah'rya Edgeston of Middleton and Adelyn O'Connor of Medon; three great-nephews, Mason Minyard, Tanner Minyard and Blayden Lowrance, all of Bolivar; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Wade McDonald.
