Thelma Christine Pickens was born in Christian County, Kentucky on June 16, 1943 the daughter of the late James J. McCraw and Eloise Skimehorn McCraw.
On June 23, 1958 she was united in marriage to Lige Pickens, who survives.
Thelma worked as a CNA for Hardin County General Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved the Lord. Thelma kept the cleanest house and loved to cook and spend time with family. She will be dearly missed and the world shines dimmer with her absence.
Thelma departed this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 12 days.
In addition to her husband of 63 years, Lige Pickens of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pickens Bromley of Henderson, Tennessee; granddaughter, Gabrielle Christine Molina of Connecticut; and sister, Elaine McCraw Yeager of Alabama.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Anthony McCraw.
Private Services will be held.
