Mr. Bryant passed away Friday morning at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born Tuesday, November 21, 1949, in Hardeman County, to the late Bill and Sue Bryant. He worked as a timber cutter and sawmill hand. Tom was always cheerful, a jokester, who loved to make others smile. He served in the US Army receiving a purple heart, a bronze star, and was wounded twice while serving. He had lived for a time in Chicago, IL before returning to Hardeman County.
He is survived by two brothers, Glenn Bryant of Medon, and Steve Bryant (Tracy) of Hornsby; a sister, Betty Moss of Lexington; four grandchildren, Jared Bryant of Bolivar, Charidy Daniel of Bolivar, Michelle Woods (Andy) of Middleton, and Billy West of Selmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bryant is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Sue Bryant; three sisters, Jamie Dellinger, Dorothy White, and Peggy Bryant; five brothers, Mark, Randy, Rodney, Jim, and Albert Wayne Bryant; and a daughter, Angela Dawn Bryant.
