Thomas Daniel Smoke

Thomas Daniel (Mr. Tom) Smoke, II of Iron City, TN was born May 25, 1935 in Selma, AL, the son of the late Thomas Daniel and Mary Gaines Williams Smoke. He was united in marriage to the former Shirley M. Cummins on June 11, 1960.

Mr. Smoke was a retired forester with Hughes Hardwood and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 84 Years, 10 Months and 21 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Smoke of Iron City, TN; sons, Gregary Smoke, wife, Colleen of Westpoint, TN, David Smoke, wife, Teresa of Sevierville, TN, Thomas D. Smoke, III, wife, Sybil of Waynesboro, TN and Christopher Smoke of Haleyville, AL; daughters, Debra Bottom of Iron City, TN and Michelle Smoke of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Paul, Scott and Jaxson Smoke, Samantha Arnold, Brandon Butler, Jamel Rohling, Justin and Josh Hatcher, April and Billy Joe Keeton, Kristina Hanvey, Katherin Risner and Christian Kilburn; great-grandchildren, Will, Alex, Brycen, Sophie, Holland, Domenic, Abrie, Ryen, Brielia, Denton, Aiden, Lydia, Sophia, Alyssa, Madison, Peyton, Greyson, Clayton, Ronin and expecting Gavin and Garrett; brothers, Daniel Smoke of Spokane, WA and James Smoke of Port Naches, TX and nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with David Miller and Tommy Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 4 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9 am to service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Keeton, Paul Smoke, Josh Hanvey, Colby Risner, Daniel Smoke and James Smoke.
