Tommy Grisham
was born in Shelby County, Tennessee on September 4, 1963 the son of the late Lem Grisham, Jr. and Ruth Irene Stanfill Grisham.
On August 14, 2004 he was united in marriage to Stacy Rana Sweat, who survives.
Tommy worked for five years in management for Country Home Health and later went to work at Aqua Glass in the shipping department for 11 years. He also was the Pastor at The Upper Room Ministry for five years and the Associate Pastor at The Carpenter Shop for 5 years. Tommy was a member of Hardin County Ministerial Association and The Carpenter Shop. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, singing and playing the guitar, piano, and harmonica. Tommy was a jokester and very sociable. He enjoyed talking on the phone, helping anyone in need and helping at church.
Tommy departed this life on Friday, March 26, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 57 years, 6 months and 22 days.
In addition to his wife of 16 years, Stacy of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Elizabeth Shoemake and her husband Wally of Savannah, Tennessee, Melody Harville and her husband Justin of Leapwood, Tennessee, and Levi Casteel of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brittany Hollin, Dillon Hollin, Harmony Kizer, Starla Prather, Jayden Grisham, and Lacey Harville; sisters, Lois Ernst of Peoria, Illinois, Judy Gay of Texas, and Sherry McCurdy of Antioch, Tennessee; and one brother, Gary Creasy of Antioch, Tennessee.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Jerry Wayne Grisham, Roger Grisham, and infant brother, Ricky Grisham.
