Tommy Leonhard

Tommy E. Leonhard was born January 14, 1922 in Gravel Hill Community of McNairy County,TN the daughter of the late Jessie "Orlis" and Mabel Hewitt English.
She was united in marriage to Fred Leonhard on March 29, 1943. Mr. Leonhard preceded her in death on October 8, 1998.
Mrs. Leonhard lived in the Eastview/New Hope Community of McNairy County. She worked in the accounting department at the Paper Mill in Counce, TN. She was a member of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church and later moved to Eastview Baptit Church. She was a member of the Eastview Ruritan club, Ladies Auxiliary at McNairy Regional Hospital, Senior Bowling League, WMU, Senior Circle and the Red Hat Society.
She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, reading, collecting turtles, and bowling. She was an avid listener of "old time' music and loved going to music festivals to listen to her favorites.
Mrs. Leonhard departed this life on August 22, 2020 at her home in Ramer, Tennessee surrounded by her family at the age of 98 Years, 7 Months, 8 Days. She is survived by her son, Alan Leonhard and wife Sally of Ramer, TN; three granddaughters, Shane Ferrell and husband Jason of Ramer, TN, Misty Weaver and husband Rodney of Finger, TN, Hope Atkinson and husband Ronnie of Bethel Springs, TN; six great grandchildren, Zachary Foust and wife Carly of Henderson, TN, Erika Smith of Ramer, TN, Emily Ferrell of Ramer, TN, Elaina Ferrell of Ramer, TN, Elizabeth Atkinson of Bethel Springs, TN, Elyse Atkinson of Bethel Springs, TN; four great-great grandchildren, Grady and Gavin Smith, Larsan and Evie Foust; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Leonhard was preceded in death by a sister, Mai Del Richard and husband Dudley.
