Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Trish Sweat, 73, of Saulsbury. Mrs. Sweat passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.
A native of Winchester, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Audrea Cox Comer and had lived in Hardeman County for over 20 years. She married Mr. Jerome Sweat on January 5, 1983 and was an accomplished quilter, welder, fisherman, member of the DAR and a master gardener, connected to nature and a humanitarian.
Caring and loving, she knew when she was right, unswervable and not afraid to tell you how it is. She would work on many projects at one time and get them all completed. Family was extremely important to her. She was a treasure to the family and everyone who knew her.
She leaves her husband, Jerome, of Saulsbury; two daughters, Natalye Hanna of Safford, AZ and Jill Ridens of Fountain Valley, CA; son, Michael Wischmeyer of Joplin, MO; sister, Karen Pegg Nickell of Vevay, IN; and five grandchildren, Lilly Hanna, Drew and Nicholas Ridens, Samantha and Tashi Wischmeyer.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
