Vernon Hubanks

Vernon Hubanks was born November 12, 1939 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Marcus Hubanks and Florence Davis Hubanks.
He was united in marriage to Dottie Plunk Dancer on November 13, 2010. He served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He attended Adamsville Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the Domino Club. Vernon retired from PCA in Counce, TN. Through the years, Vernon would fix up street rods and take them to car shows. He also enjoyed, traveling, watching Alabama football, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his church family and special pets, Clark and JoJo.
Mr. Hubanks departed this life on December 1, 2017 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 19 Days. He is survived by his wife, Dottie Plunk Dancer Hubanks of Adamsville, TN; a stepson, Stacy Dancer and wife Sherry of Adamsville, TN; a half brother; a half sister; and extended family and host of friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hubanks was preceded in death by a half brother.
