VICKIE ROUSE SCARBROUGH
Pinson, TN: Vickie Renee Rouse Scarbrough age 58 passed away Tuesday evening June 23, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born October 26, 1961 in Pinson, TN, the daughter of the late Thomas Brown and Mary Helen Rouse. She graduated from South Side High School in 1979 and married Mike Scarbrough in 1983. They made their home in Pinson. She was a member of the Pinson United Methodist Church.
She worked at Muller Optical and later The Eye Clinic in Jackson. She spent several years as an Administrative Assistant for the Madison County Board of Education. She most recently was the office manager at Chester County Grain.
She loved the beach and spending time with her family. She enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching re-runs of old TV shows.
She loved music, shopping, and her many pets. Vickie was a “People Person”, she tried to heal and “Talk” people through life situations.
Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by her husband, Mike Scarbrough of Pinson; two sons, Cody Scarbrough and wife Maggie of Germantown and Blake T. Scarbrough and wife Rachel of Pinson and a brother, Tommy Rouse and wife GayLynne of Hendersonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Thomesa Rouse.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 27th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Jimmy Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Big Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
The family asks that visitors please wear a mask.
