VIRGINIA RUTH HAMM
was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 10, 1937 the daughter of the late William R. and Hazel M. Graumiller Doherty.
On September 19, 1981 she was united in marriage to William Anthony Hamm, who preceded his wife in death on December 14, 1995.
Virginia worked as a crossing guard for the Detroit, Michigan Public School System.
She departed this life on July 26, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Virginia is survived by one son, Robert Zandi of Adamsville, Tennessee and one sister, Patricia A. Kindlinger of Cadillac, Michigan.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, June R. Doherty Beason McReynolds, one brother, Gerald R. Doherty and her first husband, August Zandi.
