Virginia Nell White Garey

Virginia Nell White Garey was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Homer and Venice Edra Lane White. Mrs. Garey departed this life on March 26, 2018, at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 21 days.

Mrs. Garey was of the Baptist belief, and she attended First Baptist Church in Ore City, Texas. Before moving to Ore City, Texas, she lived in Morris Chapel, Tennessee most of her life. Mrs. Garey enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her children.

Mrs. Garey is survived by her daughters, Barbara Garey-Deutsch of Longview, Texas and Cindy Lou Garey-Rager of Spring Hill, Texas; son, Steven Jack Garey of Ore City, Texas; brothers, Jerry Neal White and Larry Ross White, both of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; grandchildren, Bryan Wayne Hobbs, Stefanie Jill Miller, Dustin Chance Barfield, Mark Waylon Schaefer, and Ashley Renee Schaefer Jones; and great grandchildren, Conner Lynn Miller.

Along with her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Coy Garey and her brother, David Wayne White.
