Henderson, TN: Wally Elizabeth Villani Ginn, age 82, passed away August 7, 2019 at her home.
She was born May 10, 1937 in Ettlingen, Germany the daughter of the late Karl and Ilma Rhorer Villani. She moved to the United States at age seventeen, and became a U.S. Citizen. She earned an Associate’s Degree from Jackson State Community College. During her career she worked as a bookkeeper for Ross Manufacturing in Brownsville, TN for several years, Jack Robert’s Chevrolet in Tunica, MS. and then worked for Hendricks Oil as a bookkeeper for three different locations. While working at Hendricks she met Raymond Ginn through a mutual friend, and they married May 10, 1996. They made their home in Southaven, MS. In 2007 they moved to Franklin, TN upon their retirement and moved to Henderson in 2014.
She had been a member of the Brownsville Women’s Club and was a member of a bowling team. She volunteered at West Cancer Clinic in Memphis and was a member of the Nesbitt Baptist Church in Nesbitt, MS.
She was a people person and was always busy and any place she left was always cleaner than the way she found it.
She loved cooking, cake decorating and candy making.
Mrs. Ginn is survived by her husband, Raymond ‘Ray’ Ginn of Henderson; two daughters, Linda Timbes (Bill) of Jackson and Cindy Weaver of Henderson; a son, Robin Forsythe (Lisa) of Senatobia, MS; six grandchildren, Haley Forsythe, Laney Forsythe, Anna Shae Price, Myles Maness, Carmen Carroll and Karly Bond and eight great grandchildren, Henry Bond, Elisabeth Bond, and John William Bond, Molly Carroll, Abigail Carroll, Gunner Maness, Kaiya Price and Liza Clay Forsythe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Angelo Villani and a sister, Gerlinde Rapp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Associations, 699 Oakleaf Office Lane, Suite 105, Memphis, TN 38117
Graveside services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday August 10, 2019 at
Memorial Park South Woods Cemetery, 5485 Hacks Cross Road, in Memphis.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
