Walonda Nicole Pope

Walonda Nicole "Nickie" Dugger Pope, of Waynesboro, TN was born April 17, 1982 in Waynesboro, TN to Ruby Odom Rostas and the late Harold Wade Dugger. Nickie was a food service director with ABL Management Inc. and a member of Phillips Chapel and departed this life on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 40 Years, 18 Days.

She is survived by her sons, Tyler Michael Pope of Hohenwald, TN. and Tanner Hayes Pope of Waynesboro, TN; mother, Ruby Rostas, husband, Rick, of Waynesboro, TN; brothers, Joseph Dugger, wife, Megan of Hohenwald, TN, Sandy Joe Dugger, wife, Hayden of Bolivar, TN and Wayland Lowe, wife, Betthany of Waynesboro, TN and Kenneth Page, wife, Emily of Canton, MI; sisters, Jennifer Cotham, husband, Derek of Hohenwald, TN, Amanda Staggs, husband, Travis of Muscle Shoals, AL and, nieces and nephews, Caiden Cotham, Enzlee Cotham, Sawyer Staggs, Sophie Staggs, Landon Dugger, Grayson Dugger, Carter Dugger, Zoie Beth Dugger, Jaxon Lowe, Lila Lowe, Lydia Lowe, Jacob Page and Madelyne Page.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by grandparents, Nona Mae Brewer Dugger, Joe Dugger, Sandy Willis Odom and Mary Helen Hinson Odom.

Services will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in North Highland Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Joseph Dugger, Sandy Dugger, Wayland Lowe, Derek Cotham, Travis Staggs and Caiden Cotham.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
