Walter Griggs

Walter Griggs, of Waynesboro was born January 19, 1945 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Clinton and Madgie Neal Cannon Griggs. Mr. Griggs departed this life on Friday, August 17, 2018 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 6 Months, 29 Days. He was retired from Genesco Manufacturing in Waynesboro.

He is survived by son, Kolton Griggs, Cypress Inn, TN, daughters, Kassie McCrary, Hampshire, TN and Regina McBroom, Waxahachie, TX, 4 grandchildren, brother, Kenneth Griggs, Lexington, TN, sister, Josephine Howell, Waynesboro, TN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Griggs was preceded in death by three brothers, Junior Griggs, David Griggs, and Barnie Griggs.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Ray's Chapel Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John E. Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Griggs Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee

At the request of Mr. Griggs his remains were cremated.
