Warren June Strait

Warren June Strait was born January 24, 1950 in Florence, AL the son of the late Homer Cornelius Strait and Bessie Ann Keeton Strait Todd. Mr. Strait retired as a Print Operator at the University of North Alabama and was a member of the Cypress Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He departed this life on July 22, 2022 at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 28 days.
He is survived by a son, Stacey Strait and wife Shellie of Collinwood, TN; a daughter, Lisa Morrow and husband Brent of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Tyler Strait and wife Becca, Colten Strait and wife Kristina, Ashlyn Flaugh and husband Marc, Molly Morrow; a brother, Willie Strait of Iron City, TN; a sister, Shelby Butler of Iron City, TN; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Strait was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Nola Carr and two brothers, Alford Strait and Charles Delbert Strait.
The family has scheduled a private graveside service with Brent and Marvin Morrow officiating with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
